Molly is:
*Weighing 25.6 pounds
*30 inches in length {75th Percentile}
*Wearing size 5 diapers during the day and size 5 huggies overnights for bedtime.
*Molly is wearing 12 month dresses (the pants are too short and a wee bit tight) 12-18 months, and 18 month shirts and onsies; the pants are a little long still. She's definitely slowed down in weight a bit since she's moving more now.
*She has 14 teeth!! 5 upper, 5 lower, and all 4 molars! She recently cut all 4 canines/eye teeth at the same time. She was not a happy camper.
*Molly still has red hair!
*Molly still has red hair!
*Sleeping on her belly for 12 hours at night with 2 naps during the day (a shorter am and longer pm), although her morning nap is slowly going away. She still naps, but it can vary from 45 mins to 90 mins, I think by summer it will be gone. Both girls still go down together in the afternoon around 130-2 and sleep until 4-5pm.
*NO MORE FORMULA!!! We are strictly on whole milk and water. I'm not sure how long I'll keep her on whole milk, since she is chunky, but Dr. Pip says its for the fat around her brain. Everyone has a different opinion on this. I don't particularly like buying 3 types of milk, but Molly is going through a gallon pretty quickly, so I guess it's not that bad.
*She drinks around 20-24oz each day. We warm it and give it to her in a cup and whatever she doesn't finish she drinks from the bottle. She's just not ready to give up the bottle completely.
*I've recently started giving her Plum Baby mashables for breakfast and she loves them. We especially like the Blueberry Oatmeal. I find them to be super easy and since I know she's getting good nutrients, I am fine with giving them
*I've started making sure she gets two good snacks after her naps since she isn't having formula. She'll have yogurt, Ella's Kitchen Fiddlesticks, cheese, animal crackers, or fruit. She loves apples and peaches!
*I've changed her sippy cup. I still really like the Tommee Tippee brand, but we have one with a straw now. She seems to drink from them pretty well. She's also been known to grab Caroline's cup with lemonade and down that too! ;)
What Molly's loving these days!:
*Walking!! She can walk anywhere from 5-10 steps without falling. This is all dependent though on what's in her way, what/who she's walking too, and how excited she gets before falling!
*She's still cruising a lot. She doesn't crawl all that much if she can figure out a way to hold on to something and walk to her destination.
*Eating in her highchair
*Playing Patty-Cake and clapping when you say, "Good Job, Molly!
*Molly bounces or claps when she hears music or when Caroline is dancing.
*Pushing her baby stroller or Crocodile Walker around and walking behind them.
*Shaking her head no. This is a very recent thing, but if you are making her do something she doesn't want to do (changing her diaper), she'll shake her head a few times really fast, then laugh! Super cute!
*She loves that Caroline is starting to play with her more, but she also really likes playing alone, mainly with her baby doll. She loves to "feed" her baby a bottle and then rock her.
*Blowing kisses and waving hi and good-bye
Ma-Ma, Da-Da, Ba-Ba, Bye, Hi, Hey, Dah (this is her work for basically everything she can't say...she picks up a book "dah", a dish "dah", etc)
