mish mash

We have a super busy weekend coming up! I usually like to relax, just the four of us, on Saturdays and Sundays, but sometimes everything just happens to fall on the same weekend.

Daniel has school, so that in and of itself makes for a busy weekend.

Today, we are going to try out the Children's Museum. I've been wanting to visit for a while now, but Caroline wasn't quite old enough, then Molly came, and now we are just getting to the point where Molly can go out for a while between naps. I'm definitely taking advantage of this break during our day!

Saturday we have two parties! In the morning, we'll be celebrating our friend Mac's 1st birthday! Mac has an older brother, Doc, who is Caroline's age, and his parents (Pete and Ashley) are in our small group at church! They are a sweet family, and we are so excited to celebrate with them! We got him a Bug Barn. I know it's a little old for a one year old, but I thought that by the time the buggies are out this summer, him and Doc will be able to go searching together! Having two of the same sex myself, I enjoy getting toys that they can play with together! I also had one of these when I was little, and remember putting lots of fireflies in them!

Saturday afternoon after naps, we are going to visit Daniel's Aunt Sarah and (Uncle) Dr. Webb. They are having a little drop-in party for family members to be able to stop in and say hi as well as checking out their new home! We'll be taking the girls for a bit, I think Caroline will last longer then Molly, due to the time of day, but we'll stay as long as we can!

Sunday is a big day for me, one I've been anticipating since the fall! I will be taping my Baptism video. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a tad bit nervous! I'm not nervous about being baptized, or even about listening to my voice, which I don't like, I'm nervous about what I'm saying. I'm worried I won't say the right things, though it is my story, and there's nothing wrong about sharing my story. I'm worried, I won't come across in the right light, even though I know the video editors at BC are awesome. I'm just nervous about making sure my words will be pleasing to God. I want to make sure I share my story the "right" way. If you're a praying person, please say a small prayer for my nerves and the words that I speak. My baptism is Sunday, March 18th, but that's a whole other post!
