Playmat Time

My sweet friend Jenn let us borrow her playmat. I can't seem to find ours, or maybe I didn't have one to begin with? Who knows! I can't keep track these days. Anyway, Molly (and Caroline) is loving it! She coos and giggles at all of the toys hanging down and really loves it when Caroline will get on the floor and play with her too! I can already see in the future that if one of them gets something, the other one will be wanting it too! :)

They are giving me the EXACT same face!

Sweet Molly and her double chin!

Caroline's more interested in the commercial on tv...

I Go To School!

Today I took Caroline to her first MMO (Mother's Morning Out) and ALL the way to the church she screamed, "I go to school!" over and over again. I'm not sure why it's taken me this long to enroll her in one, because she's been ready for awhile. I guess with school ending, I just assumed there were no summer programs and all the summer camps around town are for 3yo. So anyway, when I heard about this program, I quickly signed her up! The program is from 9-1 at Peachtree Pres and the kids eat a snack and lunch there, but the greatest thing, it's ONLY $20!!

I have to admit, I was a little nervous about how Caroline would do considering she's really only been to Sunday School, but once we were inside the building, she started running and didn't look back...literally. I had to run after her, check her in, then let her run to her room. I kissed her good-bye and off she went! One of the little boys from our playgroup, Caleb, was in her room so that was one familiar face for her.

When I picked her up, her teacher said she did great! She played with all of the other kids nicely, she colored and made a kite, she ate ALL of her food (shocker), and she was an all around happy child! Yay!

So on the way home, all I heard was her screaming, "I like school!" Love it!

So excited to use her new lunchbox and backpack from Poppy and Lolly!

Her "cheese" face cracks me up!

And she's off!...sorry a couple are blurry, she's fast!

Someone Found Her Voice!

Someone has started chatting it up around here non-stop, and it couldn't be a sweeter sound! There's nothing better in the world then a cooing baby, well maybe a sleeping baby! ;)

Can you hear Big Sis in the back ground "cooing" as well?! The girl can't stay out of the spotlight! :)

Molly's Sip and See

The Sip and See we had for Molly was wonderful! The food was great, the company was better, and Miss Molly was perfect! I'm so glad we decided to have this. Thanks to everyone who was able to stop by, Molly and I loved seeing you all!

The Hostesses and Guest of Honor!
Food and Decor: Pimento Cheese and Chicken Salad, Fruit Salad, and Lemon Squares; Orange Sherbet Punch and Pink Champagne; Monogrammed Onesie Cookies and Goodnight Moon for all the guests to sign and of course Pink and Orange flowers!
These deserved a picture all by themselves! They were made by Layne at Sweet and Sinful bakery. My friend Candace told me about them. These cookies were so yummy! Layne also made C's Curious George cake!

Future Prom Dates? Mac was able to stop by too, although we was hungry! ;)
Lots of friends stopped by! I know a lot more were there, but I forgot to take pics.
Two of my favorite Sarah's came by! {My other favorite, Aunt Sarah made an appearance too!}
All the excitement left this little one exhausted!

I wanted to get a picture of my and the girls in our Pink and Orange, but Caroline was wiped after Harrison's birthday party, so we couldn't get it together. And Molly didn't fit into the 3 month onesie, but luckily I also had the 6 month! :)
Here's a picture of Caroline, Harrison (the birthday boy in the middle), and Luke! So cute!

Caroline and Megan

Caroline LOOOOVES her cousin, Megan! Though they're only 7 months apart, Caroline acted as if Megan was her little toy; Running over to her saying, "Baby!" then giving her big hugs and kisses (we had to explain to her that Molly is the baby now, not Megan). She also tried over and over to get Megan to chase her or play her favorite game of "Boo!" All of which, Megan kindly followed along as best she could!
Caroline loved having Megan and Charlie in town to play with and can't wait to see them again soon!

I can't wait to see these two when they are 15 & 16! T-R-O-U-B-L-E!!!

*Yes, Caroline has her pj's on in these pictures, and yes it was after 11am. Don't judge. :)

Molly's Sip & See Preview

Molly's Sip & See is tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited! I found the cutest outfits for the girls (although Caroline is going to a birthday party for her boyfriend, Harrison, so she won't really be in attendance) and I rented a Lilly dress from Rent the Runway to match the Pink and Orange theme as well! This is my 2nd rental from them and it won't be my last. It just such a novel idea and they take all of the work out of it -- Pick two sizes, they show up at your house, drop it in the prepaid envelope when done! So easy!

Sorry, so back to the outfits!

Here's what the girls will be wearing:
Here's the only picture that I could find of the pattern that's left anywhere!
Both are by Flit and Flitter that I got SUPER cheap from Zulily

And here's my dress:

We are having Pink champagne and Orange sherbet punch to match this theme as well!

My adorable invite was created by my friend Nina! She's the best! :)

Can't wait to share pictures!

Slip and Slide Fun!

On Saturday, we took the girls up to Cappys so all the kids could play together for the day. After naptime, we decided to break out the Slip and Slide for Charlie and Caroline to play on. Daniel had to show them a few times exactly how one slips and slides and they eventually got the hang of it...Charlie better then Caroline. She preferred to play on in after the sprinklers were turned off, ha!

There were too many to post one by one!

I know two kiddos who slept well on Saturday night! ;)

More to come, some with Molly and Megan!

Molly is 2 Months!

At two months --

Caroline:
Weight -- 10 pounds 8.5 ounces
Height -- 23 inches

Molly:
Weight --  12 pounds  6 ounces ( 90th percentile)
Height --  23 inches ( 50-75th percentile)
*up 5.5 pounds from birth!

Molly is wearing 3 month and 3-6 month clothes. There are very few 0-3 month things that she can fit into, just dresses really and absolutely NO newborn outfits anymore. Those didn't last long at all! She's really just wearing onesies during the day because its so hot, but Caroline had so many cute clothes that we are having to play "dress up" just so I can say Molly wore them all! :)

Molly is smiling more and more each day and cooing some too. She is very attentive (when awake) and loves it when Caroline comes into the room screaming "Hey Baby!"; her feet just start kicking like crazy!

We are finally getting into a schedule (somewhat anyway). Molly is eating 5.5-6oz every 3-3.5 hours during the day and sleeping 730p-330/4a then she drinks 4oz and is back to sleep until around 730a. As I'm sure you read last week she slept till 530a twice and 630a once, however she has since gone back to 330/4am wake ups. Dr. Pip said today that we should give her another month to try to sleep through the night on her own before we "force" the issue. I hope that she can drop it on her own, because CIO is the worst.

She got 4 vaccinations today (3 shots and 1 oral), but she was a trooper! She cried for a few minutes, then was back to her happy self and has been asleep since coming home.

Our "Chunky Monkey," as a few of the nurses called her today doesn't go back to the doctor until August!

Here's the comparison picture --

Daniel asked where Molly's neck was. I had to explain that I took her picture up close, that's why she looks soooo much bigger. Poor Baby! ;)

And because I can't take Molly's picture without taking Caroline's!
Caroline looks like a giant next to Molly!

Caroline also had to see Dr. Pip today for a sick visit. She's been running a really high fever (103.6) since yesterday. Good news -- nothing but a virus from what they can tell; Bad news -- we can only treat it with Motrin and Tylenol. Her appetite has been pretty good, she's been acted like her normal silly self, and her sleeping ok. Currently she is crying in her crib for "Bah-yee" aka Mommy....it only took her 26 months to figure out what to call me! ;)

Busy Weekend!

We had a fun filled, but busy weekend! I took TONS of pictures, and I've got lots to share! I also need to post Molly's 2 month picture as well as the comparison of her and Caroline! We go to the doctor on Tuesday to get shots (boo!) and get stats (yay!) I'll post pictures then.

For now enjoy this picture of our Sweet Molly Grace!

Tummy Time!

Poor Molly never gets any blog love! ;)

I have some pictures from her tummy time the other day. She wants so badly to hold her little head up, and she does great, but sometimes it's just too heavy for her and she gets so sad.

Resting to get her energy up!

Trying to pick her head up

Doing so good!

This is so hard, I'm done!

No More Mama! {Is it cruel that I took this picture instead of picking her up? ;)}

Can you believe she turns 2 months on Saturday? It's gone by quick! We head to the doctor next Tuesday, where she will receive her vaccinations. Not looking forward to that, but I am (as always) looking forward to the weight part of the check up. I think she's 12+ pounds and she's definitely longer.

On another note, she is sleeping through the night! Woo Hoo! Although its not exactly the time I want (530 wake up time), she does go back to sleep and I know we'll eventually get there. I'm just so happy she dropped the middle of the night feeding by herself which means no 2am CIO sessions! Double Woo Hoo! So right now we put her down around 730pm and she sleeps until 530am. I then feed her and put her back down until 8-9am. I believe she is going though a major growth spurt right now though because she is wanting to eat every 2-2.5 hours! Just when I think I have a moment to sit and eat or shower, she's up crying as though she has never eaten. 45 minute intruder needs to go away STAT.

*Update: She slept from 730-630 last night (Thursday)!! Although, we had a "little" crying from 730-830 and she finally fell asleep for good around 930, BUT no feeding for 11 hours! It took Caroline 4 months to sleep all night and we had to CIO when we dropped the bottle. Praise the Lord for chunky babies who sleep through the night on their own! Guess all the eating yesterday was being stored for her long slumber!
