At two months --
Caroline:
Weight -- 10 pounds 8.5 ounces
Height -- 23 inches
Molly:
Weight -- 12 pounds 6 ounces ( 90th percentile)
Height -- 23 inches ( 50-75th percentile)
*up 5.5 pounds from birth!
Molly is wearing 3 month and 3-6 month clothes. There are very few 0-3 month things that she can fit into, just dresses really and absolutely NO newborn outfits anymore. Those didn't last long at all! She's really just wearing onesies during the day because its so hot, but Caroline had so many cute clothes that we are having to play "dress up" just so I can say Molly wore them all! :)
Molly is smiling more and more each day and cooing some too. She is very attentive (when awake) and loves it when Caroline comes into the room screaming "Hey Baby!"; her feet just start kicking like crazy!
We are finally getting into a schedule (somewhat anyway). Molly is eating 5.5-6oz every 3-3.5 hours during the day and sleeping 730p-330/4a then she drinks 4oz and is back to sleep until around 730a. As I'm sure you read last week she slept till 530a twice and 630a once, however she has since gone back to 330/4am wake ups. Dr. Pip said today that we should give her another month to try to sleep through the night on her own before we "force" the issue. I hope that she can drop it on her own, because CIO is the worst.
She got 4 vaccinations today (3 shots and 1 oral), but she was a trooper! She cried for a few minutes, then was back to her happy self and has been asleep since coming home.
Our "Chunky Monkey," as a few of the nurses called her today doesn't go back to the doctor until August!
Here's the comparison picture --
Daniel asked where Molly's neck was. I had to explain that I took her picture up close, that's why she looks soooo much bigger. Poor Baby! ;)
And because I can't take Molly's picture without taking Caroline's!
Caroline looks like a giant next to Molly!
Caroline also had to see Dr. Pip today for a sick visit. She's been running a really high fever (103.6) since yesterday. Good news -- nothing but a virus from what they can tell; Bad news -- we can only treat it with Motrin and Tylenol. Her appetite has been pretty good, she's been acted like her normal silly self, and her sleeping ok. Currently she is crying in her crib for "Bah-yee" aka Mommy....it only took her 26 months to figure out what to call me! ;)
