Caroline has had some major events occur in her life these past few days! She attended her third swim lesson, and yes, still loves it! We were in yet another new bathing suit (the last until her summer suits make their debut!). Daniel was able to drop by her swim lesson, so there was a lot of looking at him, wondering when he was going to jump in, and not a lot of listening to Ms. Meg. She has discovered our stairs, and wants to climb them constantly. I tried my best to take pictures, but she kept wanting to lounge at me, so that was difficult. And lastly, she is STANDING!! If only for a few seconds at at time, but she is still doing it none the less. She actually took her first step (towards Aunt Tine) on Saturday, and then continued a few more steps yesterday afternoon. We tried our hardest to get in on video, and I do believe we captured one, but she wasn't into being video taped yesterday. What you will see however is her waving to her "fans" as we call it. She holds on to one of your fingers and as she walks, she is constantly waving with the other hand as if she's in a parade and there are millions of on lookers waving back. I guess she knows that there are millions of viewers on our blog, so that's who she's waving to! There are millions of you, right?

It is also T-Minus 10 days until the big day!!! Can you believe it? One year ago today, I was begging my OB to admit me, and now, I'm begging Caroline not to grow up! I can't believe how fast it has gone by. She is a little person now with a BIG personality! I can't imagine how it can get better than this! We just love her so much! I sure hope she cooperates with us next Thursday and dives into her cupcake!

I could talk about what she's eating now a days, but I'm sure you are much more interested in the pictures! Let's just say, she loves some Chick-fil-a waffle fries, just like her Mommy! We've been finding lots of excuses to run through the drive-thru! What's that you say, Caroline? You want a lemonade and french fries too???? Okay! :)

Swim Lesson #2

Well if our first swim lesson wasn't fun enough, we had an even better time last week! Caroline splashed, kicked, and screeched from the time we entered the pool to the time we left the building. She LOVES the water! I have to apologize for the wet dog look that I was sporting in the pictures, just ignore me, and look at her!...it'll make us all feel better!

I can't believe I haven't posted pictures of bathtime before, because Caroline LOVES it! Its probably her favorite time of the day, besides when she eats yogurt melts!

Mommy was silly and made Caroline have a Mo-hawk! Really all I was doing was playing with all of her hair! Can you believe how much she has!?!

Caroline's a Shrimp!

We started swim lessons at Atlanta Swim Academy today, and Caroline was a superstar! She's in the Shrimps class with 2 other little shrimps that are as cute as can be! Miss Meg said Caroline did fantastic! She kicked, reached for the duckies (which encourages moving your arms as if you were swimming), splashed like crazy, and held onto the side all by herself! She was quite sad when it was time to leave, I had a hard time keeping her from crawling back in, but that just makes me excited for the rest of our lessons! Next week we are dunking our heads underwater! :)

A Weekend Outside!

Finally! We were able to spend a lot of time outside this weekend, and boy was it nice! My dad and Aileen came into town to not only see us, but Alyson's softball team also happened to be playing at Tech so it was a 2-for-1 deal. While they were at the games on Saturday, we took Caroline on a walk and also met the Mills family at a park by our houses. Caroline LOVED the swing, I mean who doesn't love being pushed in a swing! On Sunday my dad hung her swing from Santa on a tree in a yard, and just chill-axed once again in the swing just listening to all the birds! We've already been for a walk today and once she gets up from her nap -- if she naps, we'll be swinging again! We're having a little difficultly with naps. Once she settles down, she's good, but she just has to play, screech, and sing for a while before that happens. There is also a little crying in there too....

And in just one month, a special little girl will be ONE YEAR old! I can't believe how fast its gone by and how much has changed! A year ago, I was "patiently" awaiting her arrival along with teaching to end. We were in Greenville NEVER expecting to get a call that Daniel would get the Atlanta DOM job, nor did we think that once he did get it our house would sell in 3 short days. God is good! We have had a whirlwind year that's for sure!

We start swimming on Wednesday, I don't know that I'll be able to get any pictures this week, b/c no Grandmas will be with me to take them, but I'll definitely be blogging about it!

New Playgroup!

My friend Betsy, has recently moved back to Atlanta and being the social butterfly that she is, formed a playgroup! Our first playdate was today, and we had a blast! We met at Sherri and Ally Grace's house in Brookhaven. Sherri was so sweet and made two casseroles for us to devour, which I do believe we did! Caroline is the oldest, but only by a couple of months. Once the others are able to fend for themselves, they'll give her a run for her money! I snapped a couple of pictures of the group, but had to do so very quickly! They are a squirmy bunch! Can't wait till next time...

Claudia and the kids are leaving Wednesday to go back to Dallas. We had such a great time with them, and will miss them until we see them again in April. It is so fun to see them all together. I can't wait until Megan is scooting around after Caroline and Charlie, how fun that will be! I took a lot of pictures, and will upload an album for that, but just wanted to post a few of my favorites!
