Happy Thanksgiving!

I know, its a little early, but we are packing for Florida! We leave tomorrow to go see my dad for Thanksgiving. A little nervous b/c we'll be flying, but I am sure all will go well...at least I hope! We have so much to be thankful for this year; We have a healthy, beautiful, and perfect little girl who has brought so much joy and happiness into our lives, wonderful friends and family who love us, and a great new house that we will be enjoying this holiday season! We are also sooo thankful for Caroline's sweet cousin, Megan, who will be joining our family on Wednesday! She (and everyone else) can't wait to meet her! I know they will be best of friends! We'll be thinking about Claudia, Matt, Charlie, and Megan on Wednesday...we love you! Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

What Would You Call This???

Is it scooting? Crawling? Preparing to do the Monkey Walk? Whatever it is, Caroline is doing it all the time to get from here to there! I tried to cut the video so it would be shorter, but I was cutting out too much, so its a little long, but of course adorable! I love the little shiver she does at the end! Enjoy!

True Story

So today at about noon, Caroline started rubbing her eyes and getting a little clingy. That's usually the cue to head upstairs for her afternoon nap. I put her down, she rolled over to pull down the bumper pads and watch me leave, and I thought all was well. 20 minutes later, I still hear her fussing so I think, "well, maybe its a dirty diaper..." Ding Ding Ding! So we change it and try again. Put her down, she rolls over to watch me leave, and this time I'm sure she'll fall asleep. Well another 15-20 mins goes by and STILL I hear her! I turn on our video monitor and notice she's up on all fours, Great! She's practicing crawling. She's been trying extra hard to crawl lately. I guess she's over scooting. I continue watching and notice that she's not really on all fours anymore and then see that she was pushed herself into the corner and is now sitting! She looks around like, What did I just do?!? I laugh and call Daniel to tell him what his daughter did! Note: She becomes HIS daughter when she decides to do things such as not nap! :) He laughs at this new trick and then we hang up, and then its on to call my mom to explain what she's doing. No sooner do I get the words she's sitting up in her crib out of my mouth that I notice I am staring at her butt! That's right, SHE'S STANDING UP IN HER CRIB!!! What??? I quickly grab my camera and this is what I saw!

7 Months Old!

Can you believe that in only 5 months Caroline will be a ONE year old!!?? Ahh!

She is into everything these days! She is scooting around like crazy, pulling up with help, and wrestling/climbing all over her daddy! We have tried chicken (not a fan) Yo-Baby (baby yogurt) and Puffs! We haven't given her huge amounts of these, just little tastes! Her first top tooth has broken three, bringing the total number of teeth she has to three, hence the tremendous amounts of drool in her pictures. She is napping and sleeping great. We're down to 2 good naps each day and she is still sleeping 7 to 7. We've had to resort to overnight diapers b/c she was having lots of accidents at 5am, not fun! She is such a happy baby, and I am so blessed to get to see her grow and change each day!
