Caroline has figured out that she can scream/screech now! I think this is hilarious, but after 30 mins, you start to get a headache! Here's a video of some of the screeching that we have heard over the past few days. The end of it is some sweet Daddy Daughter time...Caroline loves her Daddy! (Turn off the Music)

HHI Beach Pictures!

Here are the pictures from our beach vacation! We had so much fun watching Caroline and Charlie enjoy the beach and pool together! Daniel and I decided that vacations with kids, while as wonderful as they are, are no longer as relaxing as they once were...we came home and crashed last night! We had a fabulous time with everyone though and can't wait till next year when Matt and Baby Burdulis #2 join us!

Aunt Sarah and Dr. Webb came to visit Charlie and Caroline the other day, and couldn't stop loving on them!

4 Month Well Check Up

Caroline went to see Dr. Pip today for Caroline's 4 month well baby! This was our first time going to North Atlanta Pediatrics, and we loved it! Caroline now weighs 14.5 lbs!!! That's up 5 lbs in 2 months! Whoa!! And she is now almost 25 inches, which I think is about 4.5 inches in two months! We've had a MAJOR growth spurt in the Parker household! She is between the 50th and 75th percentile in both weight and height. Dr. Pip said she is absolutely perfect (which obviously we knew)! She didn't give him the bottom lip, which she's been doing a lot lately to new people, she just giggled and laughed at him. She also did SO good with her shots! When the nurse gave the first one, she was chewing on her paci and stopped to look at her like, "What did you just do to me?" But no tears. Well, the second one came and stung a little so we cried a little, but for maybe 10 seconds. The second I picked her up, she was back to smiling! :) Dr Pip also said that we can start her on some Oatmeal, and after a few days of doing well with that, we can start veggies!!! Woo hoo...or maybe yuck! We start one veggie at a time, go 3-4 days with it before introducing another, and then switch them up. Basically all you're doing the first year is introducing food, she is still getting all nutrients from her formula. So you ask, why veggies first? I sure did! Dr. Pip said its so they don't develop a sweet tooth. Think about it, you give a baby bananas, peaches, pears, and then peas???? What? Of course they won't like the peas! They aren't sweet! But you start them off with that, yes, they may not love them, but they won't know about all the yummy fruits they are about to get so they really know no difference yet! Genius! So after the beach, we'll be starting those, for now its just rice cereal and Baby Oatmeal. The last thing we were told to do is NO MORE 10P FEEDING. AHHH!!! I'm not sure how this is going to go, I can only hope good. Dr. said that waking her up is messing up her sleep, and we'll all sleep better if we just put her down after her 7pm feeding and feed her again at 7a. He also said that age and weight-wise she's fine. Not going to lie, it scares me b/c she is used to the extra 4oz at 10 but I guess she has come to expect it, and that can get bad. We are to ignore the crying, he promised it wouldn't last more than a couple of days. So far so good...2 hours and 45 mins into it! :) Only 9 hours and 15 mins to go! Will update tomorrow on how tonight goes, pray for us! :)

Look How Cute!

I have quickly learned that once you have a child, there is no more shopping for Mommy...all money and time spent shopping goes directly to the little one(s). A month ago Caroline had very little with her name on it, and now has a ton! Look at my newest purchase! I know my non-mommy friends can't get excited as me about this, but you have to admit its pretty stinkin' cute! (And no, I did not lay this out to take a picture, I copied from the website I bought it from, she posted it as an example!)

We go see our new doctor, Dr. Pip, on Tuesday and I can't wait to see how much she weighs and how long she is! Its been 2 months since we've been to the pediatrician. Unfortunately that also means more vaccinations. No fun!

Welcome Home!

We just found out today that we have FINALLY entered into a binding agreement with the sellers of our new home! We close on Sept 3rd and after doing a few things to update the house, hopefully we'll be moving in mid-September. Here's a picture of the front of the house, we can't wait to live there!

Weekend Shenanigans

We had lots of fun this weekend, starting with Cappy's birthday on Thursday! Caroline is growing and changing each day! She has a few new found loves: Her Bear blanket, her new pearl bracelet, and her toes! She can now put her toes in her mouth! Awesome! I still love my new camera so I snapped some pictures from the past couple of days!
