Graduation, New Best Friends, and House Hunting

The past few weeks have been quite busy in the Parker household! First, we found out we are moving back to Atlanta! Beginning June 1st, Daniel will be taking over the DOM job in the Atlanta area! I am so proud of him, he's worked extremely hard to get this job (though he'll never admit to it!)! This move does come with mixed emotions, at least for me. We absolutely love Greenville, our house, and our neighbors. Plus, the thought of moving with an almost 7 week old makes my skin crawl! We will definitely miss everyone here, but we couldn't say no to a move back home. So we spent a lot of last week and this past weekend looking at houses on the internet and around town. We also went to Eric's graduation from Walker! This was Caroline's first "big" event, so Daniel and I were a bit stressed not knowing how she'd do. We definitely underestimated her, because she was PERFECT!!..as always! We are all so proud of Eric's accomplishments in high school and can't wait to see where life takes him! His first stop though is to Athens! Yep, Barry has yet another Bulldawg in the house much to his chagrin! We can't wait for the fall in Athens with Eric, hopefully he'll carve out some time to see us! And lastly, we finally got to meet Sweet Ella! Caroline decided she would fall asleep right before arriving at the Grant's, but soon woke up once she realized where she was and who she was meeting! Katie looks great, and Ella is absolutely adorable! Her serious faces cracked me up! The girls behaved while we had a photo shoot, the first of many I am sure! We didn't get to spend as much time with them as we would've liked, but hopefully we'll get to see them again soon! And now we are back in G-ville for about a week while we get our house on the market and start packing up...ugh! It will be nice when we're all settled again!

Our Second Visit with Cousin Charlie

Cappy, Claudia, and Charlie came up to Greenville to visit before Claudia and Charlie head back to Dallas. We had a great time with them, and can't wait to see them again at the beach in August!

1 Month Check Up

We went to the doctor on Friday for Caroline's 1 Month Check-up! Can you believe it's been a month already! She's weighing in at a whopping 8 pounds 13 oz (up from 7lb 6oz at birth)! She's grown 1.5 inches, she's now 21 inches long, and her head is one inch bigger! Doctor said she is perfect! She's holding her head up more and more each day, smiling at you, and even starting to coo! Daniel and I feel so privileged to have Caroline in our lives, and know we've been blessed with such a healthy and perfect baby! She even slept till 4am today! Woo Hoo! Let's hope she keeps that up! Happy Early Mother's Day to all the moms who read this!

Road Trip!

We just got back from Caroline's first trip to Atlanta to see family and friends! Caroline was a trooper! She slept ALL the way to Atlanta, and ALL the way home! Hopefully she'll continue to be a fan of the car, since we have many more trips planned! I have a few pictures from the weekend. She had LOTS of visitors, but loved meeting them all and can't wait to see everyone again in two weeks! Caroline had an especially fun time with CCC -- Crazy Cousin Charlie (as Daniel began calling him), and we can't wait to see him again in Greenville on Friday! Charlie was so good with her, always asking where "Baby" was and if Baby was "Night Night". And the hugs and kisses he gave her were adorable!! Also....we want to wish Uncle Matt and Aunt Claudia a Happy Anniversary! They've been married 3 years today! We Love You!
