Daniel is ALWAYS telling me that I have a one track mind, and I have never wanted to believe it until today! I have completely proven this "theory" to be true. I was talking to my dear friend Katie this afternoon, and she brought up the latest update on
her blog. I admitted to her that not only did I plan to start a blog post-baby, but that yes, I had already staked claim to a blog url AND found "the cutest" background for it too! She laughed, and then suggested I start it when we start decorating the nursery. What a great idea!!...only this got all the wheels in my head swiftly turning about all the things I could put on there now. After getting off the phone with her, I came home to check her blog, along with the others I check daily, and started to get the itch! First it started with the background (again) and text color and font, then I had to add a picture of Daniel and I on the site, next was the "Favorite Reads" panel and the playlist. Before I knew it I had spent 90+ mins "updating" my yet-to-be-published post-baby blog! Not to mention that Daniel was about to fire me as his wife if I didn't get downstairs and help start dinner! I quickly said, "coming" which reminded me of all those times I said that to my mom when she too was calling me downstairs to dinner, but yet I couldn't move! I was hooked! There are so many options and add ons that one could be here for hours just figuring out what they want on their blog! Eventually though, I headed down stairs to help with dinner, only to return after, which is where I find myself now! I really don't intend to update this too often until Baby Parker comes, but will definitely do it enough so that everyone will be updated on the progress of the nursery and baby bump! We find out one week from today what we are having, and you can count on a post being made then. I will also have Daniel begin to take pictures of my belly so you can all see the bump grow and grow. It honestly still just looks like a beer belly right now though. Hopefully soon those looks from strangers will go from "Oh that poor girl needs to lay off the booze" to "When are you due?" Until next time, I'll leave you with a realization that I have come to and our one and only "glamour shot" of Baby Parker.
Hi, My name is Callie Parker, and I have a One Track Mind.
